REI AUTOMATION, INC. was founded in 1990 as Reverse Engineering, Inc., specializing in providing reverse engineering services to manufacturers. REI now provides custom, turn-key machines, cells and lines used for assembly, testing and material processing for a variety of industries. REI is one of the few machine integrators that is still growing in a recession driven market. We will be releasing our new interactive website in the Fall of 2010 in conjunction with the celebration of our 20th year in business. We hope to see you at the Grand Opening celebration of our newest building expansion later this year.

Services

REI AUTOMATION is built on the foundation of providing elegant, robust designs by utilizing a team-approach to MACHINE DESIGN. REI uses the latest 3D solid-modeling CAD technology for all mechanical designs, including SolidWorks, MicroStation, and ProEngineer. This capability provides our customers with the ability to visualize a machine system before the first component is manufactured. REI has integrated systems for the automotive, medical, nuclear, heavy vehicle, communication, energy, and consumer goods markets. Utilizing the latest cutting edge technology, REI can provide solutions for most applications our customers demand.

REI has in-house capabilities to provide entire turn-key machine systems, including PRECISION MACHINING and ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY. REI has a broad range of experience integrating robots, vision systems, laser markers, servo motion, leak testing, torque drivers, welding, and much more. REI partners with a large network of suppliers to provide specialty services such as laser cutting, waterjet cutting, CNC machining, plating, and precision fabrication.

REI provides state-of-the-art ELECTRICAL CONTROL SYSTEMS for our turn-key machines and as retrofits to replace or upgrade obsolete control systems. REI's staff is experienced in electrical system design, PLC programming, electric motor drive system installation, and ELECTRIC PANEL FABRICATION. Our machine systems often utilize a PC or PLC-based touchscreen operator interface, which has been custom designed for the application.

REI is proud of its staff of highly experienced engineers and designers who enjoy the creative collaboration of using our customer's product and process knowledge to develop great machine systems.
